How would you revise your media categorization based on what you read? What would you add to your hierarchy of media?

I would probably add more visualization to my media categorization to make it more readable and accessible for external users. Users may not know what specific media are or specific subcategories of media. By adding images or some sort of method to visualize the media, users will have an easier time understanding different types of media. Additionally, I would make my site more interactive. It’s so boring to go through a long list of media and I certainly did not enjoy scrolling through my fellow classmates LONG lists. I would make it interesting and engaging so that users are excited to go through my website and read about the types of media I use. In regards to the hierarchy of media, I didn’t feel it was necessary to put all the specific subcategories of media I use, I felt that a few examples of each would suffice. If I were to go back, I would probably put all the specific categories. I was reading some of my classmates and was like wait I also have this in common but did not put it on my website. Additionally, several sections I would add to my hierarchy of media are: advertisements (TV commercials, billboards, magazines), text (books, textbooks, comics), and school (canvas, google drive).
